EQUIPMENT BOOKING

CINSSU is happy to introduce our filmmaking equipment borrowing program. Renting is free of charge, you only need to place a cash deposit for the items which will be returned to you on return of the items in the same condition you received them.

How to Book:

  1. Check the calendar at this link here to see whether the equipment is available.

  2. Fill out the gear rental form here.

  3. Download and sign the gear rental agreement here, and send it with a picture of your t-card to cinssu.film@gmail.com.

  4. Join the CINSSU Gear Rental Discord HERE.

  5. Come to pick up your gear at the designated time from the rental form in Innis College, Room 107, with the following items

    1. Deposit Fee

    2. Having the gear rental form and agreement signed and sent

Policies:

Deposit Fees: Deposit fees will be required for each item of equipment borrowed from CINSSU. The deposit fee for each item is calculated at 30% of the cost of the item, and will only be accepted by cash in-person. Upon return of the borrowed item within the loaning timeframe, the deposit will be returned to the borrowing student in full. 

Late Policy: All CINSSU gear will be available to borrow for up to 7 days at a time. Students who return equipment late may have their borrowing and equipment use privileges suspended at the discretion of CINSSU. 

Loss/Damage Policy: Members who lose or damage equipment are liable for the full amount in repair/replacement costs. They may also have their borrowing privileges suspended at the discretion of CINSSU.
